An animal sanctuary based in Waipu which is dedicated to providing a safe place for all kinds of animals to live until they find a loving forever home or they can retire there and live a safe and happy life. NORTHLAND BIRD RESCUES
Whangarei Native Bird Recovery Centre
Dedicated to rescue and rehabilitation of injured native and non-native birds from waxeyes to albatross for 30 years. They run a Bird Centre which is open to the public. They provide many services such as running child and adult education programs and helping with Kiwi conservation and environmental advocacy.
