Enquiries regarding dogs that may be available for adoption from the Gisborne District Council shelter are welcomed and appreciated.
Dogs that are currently impounded can be seen listed on the Gisborne Council's website under Services/Impounded Dogs.
The pound is open 8 am - 8:30 pm or by other arrangement, and is located at the end of Dunstan Road, Matawhero. Meet and greets are by appointment and are encouraged.
