Waikato District Council 

Dogs that become available for adoption can be seen on the Waikato Pound Pups Facebook page.

Enquiries regarding dog adoption are welcomed.

 

The shelters are open 3 pm - 4 pm Monday to Friday. Appointments are not necessary if visiting during this time but are appreciated. Other appointment times can be arranged.

The pound shelters are located at 16 Brownlee Ave, Ngāruawāhia and 15 Austin Place, Pukekohe.

Thames - Coromandel Council 

Dogs that become available for adoption from the Thames-Coromandel District Council pound shelter may be seen on the Thames-Coromandel Council Facebook page and are also listed on the Council website at this link.

Hamilton City Council 

Dogs that become available for adoption from the Hamilton City Council pound shelter can be seen on the Hamilton Adopt a Dog Facebook page.


The pound is open 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm Monday to Sunday and is located at 217 Ellis Street, Hamilton. Appointments are not necessary (but are appreciated) if visiting during this time.

WAIPA DISTRICT COUNCIL
